A website builder, a one-time designer, or a monthly plan?
Three ways to get a small business website, and how each one plays out, from day one to a year later.
How each one plays out
Build it yourself
You sign up for a builder like Wix, Squarespace, or GoDaddy, or set up WordPress. You pick a template and fill it in after you close for the day. You’re also the designer and the tech person: the layout, how it works on phones, how fast it loads, and the settings that help Google find you.

Hire a designer once
A designer builds the site and hands you the keys. A good one makes launch day look great. After that, keeping it fast, secure, and current is up to you, or you pay as changes come up.

A monthly plan (that’s us)
You fill in a short brief. We design your site from scratch for your business, put it online, and keep it current. We handle the design, the phone layout, the speed, the search setup, and the security, and we check each one before launch. We’ve spent ten years building websites for shops and trades.

Questions
Isn’t a monthly plan more than paying once?
It depends on how often things change. Paying once is one bigger bill, and hosting, fixes, and changes come later. With us it’s $139 a month from the start, with the build, hosting, and changes included, and year two costs the same as year one.
Can I make changes myself?
You send them to us by email, and most go live within two business days. There’s no login to learn and nothing to break.
I already have a website. Can I switch?
Yes. We build your new site while the old one stays up. When it goes live, links to your old pages still work, and so does your email. Keep your old plan until we tell you the new site is live.
What if I want to leave?
Just let us know 30 days ahead. Your site stays up through the month you’ve paid for, your domain is always yours, and after 12 paid months you can ask for a copy of your site files.
Which plan should I pick?
Most businesses start with Essentials at $139 a month. Pick Growth at $199 if you want your Google reviews and live hours on the site, plus a launch photo visit (within about two hours’ drive). Pick Local Pro at $279 if you’d also like us to keep your Google listing current. Not sure? Pick Custom on the form and ask.
Can I see what you’d build?
Yes. Examples has four sample sites: food & drink, services, a contractor, and a shop. They show the range. Yours is designed from scratch around your business.
